The fact that, within the framework of certain operating modes, a person resembles a biorobot (automatic control system) is recognized by many. In this case, the object of control of this system is the organic body of a person, and the subject of control is a certain “Computer”, which functions on the basis of certain programs (both innate and acquired in the process of life).
In the first approximation, the functioning of a person as a biorobot proceeds in the following sequence.
First, under the influence of various stimuli, human receptors (visual, auditory, pain, etc.) generate electric currents that cause a corresponding disturbance of the electromagnetic field of the brain. (In this regard, both electric currents and disturbances of the electromagnetic field of the brain can be considered as carriers of information about the external and internal environment in principle.) Then the “Computer” correlates what is happening in the external and internal environment with its programs, after which it sends to the brain a specific command, how a person should act in a given situation.
Thus, on the surface lies the idea of carriers of information about the external and internal environment in the form of some hypothetical quanta (thought forms).
But here’s the discrepancy. The idea of psi-quanta is not bad, however, firstly, until now no one has been able to detect these psi-quanta (encephalography deals with other issues). And secondly, following this hypothesis, you come to the conclusion that in reality the hypothesis works only when psi-quanta have mass and obey the laws of microgravity. However, in this case, psi-quanta are a product of the impact of disturbances of the electromagnetic field of the brain on some unknown field (s).
You can go further.
Taking this hypothesis as a basis, one cannot but come to the conclusion that in the process of his mental activity a person participates in the creation of a real microcosm of the Universe. Moreover, it is possible that this real microcosm is inhabited by some real micro-entities. Thus, some thoughts of a person can create a comfortable living environment for these entities, others – uncomfortable.
Wasn’t this what the Buddha was talking about, demanding from a perfect person, among other things, also “right thoughts”?
